About Us

About Us

Welcome to our website.

Flue-Stax is the UK’s largest independant flue installation company. We have been supplying and installing flues since 1996. From our 4 regional offices: North, South, the Midlands and South West, we cover the UK. Our aim is to provide a trouble-free, reliable, friendly service.

Installation Work

Our approach is teamwork – both within our own company and most importantly as part of our customer’s team. Our Project Managers are time-served Engineers and our Installation Crews are specifically trained for the wide variety of different types of sites we work on.

Our site teams are an important resource and we are proud to be able to offer their experience and expertise.

Project Management

Our regional offices are staffed by time-served Installation Engineers who understand the importance of delivering the project efficiently and on time.

Each project is managed by a dedicated Project Manager. Just one point of contact for costings, drawings, site-coordination and scheduling deadlines. They are experienced in site assessments – offering advice on the most cost effective options and practicalities of re-using and adapting existing systems.

Materials

The majority of our installations are manufactured from stainless steel – either single wall or twin wall with insulation, depending on the particular requirements of each project.

Stainless steel (both grade 304 and 316) is the material of choice for durability and performance. Sectional prefabricated flue systems are sourced from the top UK manufacturers and carry the requisite quality and compliance approved.

Using modular, pre-fabricated, factory components means that quality is carefully controlled and performance is guaranteed.

Design

A full design service is provided that includes:

  • Sizing checks to ensure the diameter is correct for the duty.
  • Height checks to ensure the termination complies with regulations.
  • Material selection to suit the fuel and location.
  • CAD drawings to coordinate.
